Over Rated… when it’s Bigger Than the Spin
Let’s be brutally honest: if Nicole Kidman didn’t marry Tom Cruise, then no one would have heard of her. She’d be still stuck here in Australia, most likely on neighbours (a poorly scripted, mediocre Television show). Ultimately, Ms Kidman, like some other actresses, Australian and otherwise, hitched her ride to fame. An ordinary talent, who thanks to the ’spin’ has risen above mediocrity and has become legendary.Ms Kidman, however, is in good company. Other over rated actors include: Russel Crowe: Adam Sandler (can’t act full stop), Jay Lo (well, she’s not a real actress is she?), include Madonna here, as well, and Matt Damon (though he tries), to name just a few.
Others Over Rated: Paris Hilton, can anyone tell me why this twit is famous? Apart from coming from a renown Hotel family, what alone has Ms Hilton done to warrant so much global attention and kudos? It would be a different story, however, if she founded the hotel group herself. But, alas, Ms Hilton does not possess the characteristics of a strong, intelligent, self sufficent female. No, why should she when with daddy’s help, the Hilton money has forged Ms Paris a fine ’faux career’. Who cares if she can’t sing, dance or act? Bottom Line: it just goes to prove that if you’re filthy rich and talentless, you can still buy fame, afterall. Mediocrity, it seems, is for the poor.
Speaking of Hilton, let’s take a look at Perez. Why, oh why, has this man become famous? Maybe we should consider all of the above. His blog is poorly written (and what is it with those white squiggles adorning photos? Childish in the extreme), he tells us nothing new, and, whats’ worse he’s taken on the Hilton name as an honourary gesture to Paris. Puhleeaassee! We’ll, stop right here, right now! Because, that in a nutshell, my friends, tells you more about Perez Hilton than anything else. All in all, Perez just like the above mentioned, is grossly over rated – a talentless hitchhiker.
